Pittsfield, MA – The United States Small Business Administration recognized Berkshire Bank, America's Most Exciting Bank®, as the "Top SBA Lender to Veterans and Exporters" for fiscal year 2017 in Connecticut. In addition, Berkshire Bank placed third in overall loan activity totaling 53 loans for $6.625 million for small businesses in the Connecticut region.
The U.S. Small Business Administration reported that Connecticut's small business owners received 702 loans supporting over $207 million in fiscal year 2017 (October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017) through its business loan programs.
