Albany, NY November 2, 2017 - Berkshire Bank is pleased to announce the successful installation of signage on the roof line of 30 South Pearl St., Albany, NY.
Weighing in at 2,100 pounds and measuring 12' high x 18' 2" wide x 8" deep, the Berkshire Bank logo, made of aluminum, steel and plastic was hoisted 140 feet by a crane to the East elevation of the roof line on Saturday, October 26.
The most time-consuming part of the installation was maneuvering the sign into place via the crane where it was secured and bolted to the building.
The logo was designed to be internally illuminated, so at nighttime, it will glow in gold.
It was designed, manufactured, and installed by Pittsfield, MA based Graphic Impact Signs who is the contractor for Berkshire Bank's exterior and interior signage.
As a result of significant growth within the Capital Region, Berkshire Bank moved their Regional Headquarters from 41 State Street to 30 South Pearl Street in Albany, NY in December 2016.
