PITTSFIELD, MA – September 9, 2015 – Berkshire Bank, America’s Most Exciting Bank®, is excited to announce the promotion of Michael Grandfield to Senior Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager in Berkshire’s Pioneer Valley Region. Grandfield will continue his role as a commercial relationship manager in the region.
Grandfield has nearly 30 years of managerial and commercial lending experience having held leadership roles at community banks in the western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut regions, including Hampden Bank, Simsbury Bank, Baybank and Bank of New England.

Grandfield is a graduate of Bryant College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration from American International College.
Grandfield has been civically involved in all of the communities in which he has lived and worked over the years serving on numerous non-profit boards. Grandfield was also the past president of the Agawam Rotary Club and continues to be an active member. He resides in Suffield with his wife Kelly and children, Nicholas, Nathan, Katie and Meghan.
